Alex Tric hosts events and pop-up galleries centered on creativity and connection. It is an experience designed to spark conversation and foster meaningful relationships. Through bold, vibrant visual art, environments are designed for natural conversation starters, breaking the ice and bringing people together. We host events across Long Island, from energetic art parties to chill, coffee-and-tea gatherings. Our art parties begin as a gallery-style showcase, with a group of talented artists displaying their work, and gradually transform into a lively celebration featuring a live band or DJ. On other occasions, we keep things more low-key and conversational, creating cozy spaces where guests can engage with the art and each other.

Over the past few years, Alex Tric has been showcasing his work at galleries and pop-ups across Long Island and the boroughs, earning a following for his vibrant colors, cheeky subjects, and irresistible sense of fun. Now he brings that same energy into libraries with a gallery of new work including a collection of Abstract Flowers, which centers on bold and electric flowers that explore how we are shaped by our environments. This collection reflects on what we choose to let into our lives—the people, content, and ideas that help us grow or hold us back—and reminds us that while we may not control every circumstance, we can always choose to move, prune, and replant ourselves in healthier soil.

“This artwork originated from a photo I took during a Summer trip to Europe. The Citroen car pulled into a side street off Overtoom (S106) near Vondelpark in Amsterdam. The sun was setting behind the iconic Dutch merchant houses lining the street, and the soft glow of streetlights started to illuminate the cobblestone road, casting a warm ambiance over the scene. As I walked out from Vondelpark and turned the corner, I saw this. I paused, admiring the car's vintage charm. I snapped this photo before the Citroen's accelerator purred to life, and it continued down the alleyway.”
